Client had considered moving to a new house but could not find anything that would meet their needs and preferred to customise the existing layout and still be within the budget of moving to a new residence. The first floor addition of a master bedroom, bathroom and study meant the ground floor can open out to the rear yard with the living/dining/kitchen area directly accessing the light from the rear of the property.
